dark stain on cream carpet … what should I use (UK)?
I have a dark (tea bags / tannins) in a cream colored carpet stains. It is now dry and the patch is very noticeable. I want to bleach the stain, but not the area around the carpet – as is also evident. What am I supposed to? if it should be specific cleaning products I use, please note that I am in the UK and some products may not be available, or a diffferent have names here
* Use a white vinegar solution. Mix a cup of not white (red wine or cider) vinegar with 1 cup of water. White vinegar (5 Percent acetic acid) is sometimes weak, with effect from tannins (plant color) found in tea and coffee, and it leaves no residue.
